Summer trips are coming to an end and Nyvaig is heading back from the Western isles having made it all the way to the 'Edge of the World" - St Kilda - well done to them. Zig Zag also had a succesful trip to the Northern Isles and enjoyed their stay in Kirkwall - a good result from Jeff and Christine. The Netherlands was the chosen destination for the Magie de Mer crew and they sailed all round the Isselmeer and up through the canals. Carioca's new crew had their first sailing trip to the Moray Firth much enjoyed by them all.
Craning In went extremely well with 12 boats craned into the water. The weather was, as usual, kind with a moderate east wind. Liamar, a Contesa 32, was placed onto a low loader to begin her journey to the Isle of Wight where her new owners will berth her. The crane and crew was supplied by Rodgers (Builders) Ltd of Earlston.
